Berendina Conducted Training Workshop for Youth Development Coordinators

In pursuit of enhancing the proficiency and expertise of its Youth Development Coordinators (YDC), Berendina recently arranged a specialized training workshop spanning three days. The workshop, which unfolded from November 18 to 20, 2023, took place at the Concord Grand Hotel in Dehiwela.

The training workshop was structured to encompass three key domains, namely Career Guidance, Career Guidance Landscape, and Career Key Interpretation. Over the course of the event, Youth Development Coordinators explored into the details of the Evolution of Career Guidance and its underlying theories. The comprehensive curriculum covered aspects such as career awareness, guidance, counseling, coaching, and mentoring. Participants engaged in immersive learning experiences related to career guidance tools and career key interpretation, addressing the unique challenges faced by in-school youth, post-exam youth, and school dropouts.
