BMIC Clients Empowered at “Empower Your Future” Motivational Training Program

The BMIC Dickoya branch recently hosted a special motivational session titled “Empower Your Future” for microcredit clients on 3 September 2024, at the DKW Hall, Hatton. This holistic program, led by renowned Holistic Guru Dr. T. Sumanenthiran, Director of the SRISTI organization, attracted over 165 enthusiastic BMIC clients including 50 youth from clients’ families from the Nuwara Eliya region.

Dr. Sumanenthiran covered essential topics such as economic literacy, personal skill development, health and well-being and community empowerment. He also shared insights on enhancing business strategies in today’s challenging economic landscape. Participants engaged in hands-on group work, analyzing real-life success stories of BMIC clients and drawing inspiration from their achievements. At the end of the program, all participants were given a fruit plant to encourage them to be connected with nature and green environment.

At BMIC, we are committed to uplifting our clients through regular motivational and skill-building workshops like “Business Victory,” “Financial Literacy” and “Success in Money Management.” These programs, conducted in Sinhala and Tamil, empower our clients to become successful entrepreneurs in their respective fields.
