Enhancing Leadership Excellence: Berendina Empowers Managerial Team Through Exclusive Leadership Workshop

On November 2, 2023, Berendina orchestrated a significant event aimed at refining the leadership skills of its managerial staff. The event took place at the prestigious Committee Room of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka and featured a specially designed workshop titled “Creative Leadership for Organizational Profitability.” The workshop was led by the renowned Human Resource Consultant, Trainer, and Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka, Ms. Denuka Perera, who also serves as the CEO of Zion Consulting.

Participating in this transformative one-day session were a diverse group of leaders from Berendina, including Area Managers, Regional Managers, Branch Managers, Assistant Branch Managers, and key members of the Head Office managerial team. The primary focus was on fine-tuning their leadership abilities to foster organizational growth and success. 

The workshop encompassed an array of vital modules that directly relate to effective organizational leadership. These included discussions on the six essential leadership traits, insights into the organizational framework, techniques for situation analysis, understanding the dynamics of organizational change, key leadership competencies, workload analysis, effective leadership communication, strategies for coaching and developing subordinates, and practical activities designed to imbue participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for navigating daily challenges more proficiently.
