Mr. Athapaththuge holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Lincoln, UK, a Postgraduate Diploma in Economic Development, Certificate in Agriculture Extension and Rural Development from the University of Reading UK and a B.Sc. in Agriculture (Special) University of Ruhuna. He has over 30 years of extensive management and consultancy experience in poverty alleviation, microfinance and enterprise development services, for local and international organisations including World Bank, Asian Development Bank, United Nations Development Programme, Women’s World Banking and Mix Market.
