Cluster Leaders of Berendina Welimada Branch Participates at Cluster Leaders’ Get-Together Ceremony

Berendina Micro Investments Company Ltd’s Welimada Branch organized a Get-Together for its Cluster Leaders recently. This colorful event was held at Sensith Reception Hall at Dambawinna, Welimada on 22 September 2022. 83 Cluster Leaders assigned to Welimada branch actively participated at this event which was grace by the present of Mr. Amal I. Dissanayake, Operations Manager as the Chief Guest while Mr. Chathuranga Nawarathna, Credit Quality Manager and Mr. Gayan Liyanagama and Assistant Area Manager were present as Special Guests.

From 2019, Berendina operates in Welimada and this was a significant event for the Cluster Leaders to participate for the first time in a get-together and meet higher officials of Berendina directly and express their feedbacks and ideas on the operation. It also paved the way for Berendina management to appreciate the unmatched contribution provided by Cluster Leaders for the operation facing challenges of Covid-19 pandemic and present economic crisis. The Berendina Management team also presented an in-depth presentation on rights & responsibilities as a Cluster Leader, Berendina’s future course and strategic direction as well as the current situation of Micro Finance industry in Sri Lanka. At the end of the event, all participants received special souvenir umbrellas from BMIC along with individual event photo and later served with sumptuous lunch.
