Empowering BMIC Staff with Enhanced Credit Appraisal Skills

Berendina Micro Investments Company Limited (BMIC) recently held a comprehensive 2-day workshop aimed at enhancing the theoretical and practical knowledge of its staff in effective credit appraisal techniques and overall credit operations. The workshop took place at the scenic Pawana Hotel in Malsiripura on the 15th and 16th of August 2024, and was attended by new recruits from the Kegalle, Anuradhapura and Kurunagala regions.

This training program is designed to enable BMIC’s staff to provide superior credit services to customers by equipping them with the skills to identify the most suitable products for clients, address entrepreneurial needs and assess training requirements. The workshop also aimed to empower the new recruits to serve their communities more effectively and with greater care. A total of 35 enthusiastic participants, including branch managers, micro investment officers and facilitators, were guided by experienced trainers throughout the sessions.
