Horowpothana Berendina Branch Cluster Leaders participate at Get-Together Ceremony

It was a happy occasion for the Cluster Leaders attached to Horowpathana Branch of Berendina Micro Investments Company Ltd (BMIC) to participate at a Get-Together ceremony which was organized recently by the branch. This exciting event was held at the Diyakatapahana Reception Hall at Horowpothana on 07th October 2022 from morning till late afternoon. This event was one of the five events that are organized for the year 2022. The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Mr. Anura Atapattu, Managing Director of BMIC while Ms. Rajany Surenth, Manager – Credit, Mr. W. M. N. I. Dayananda, OIC of Horowpothana Police Station, Mr. W. P. S. K. Weerasinghe, Agriculture Instructor as well as Mr. Saman Wijesundara, Area Manager – BMIC for Anuradhapura Region participated as Guests of Honour. 99 Cluster Leaders attached to the Horowpothana Branch participated at this memorable event.

Berendina organizes Cluster Leaders’ Event in every 2 years. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 outbreak, these Cluster Leaders events were postponed for almost 4 years. The last branch wise Cluster Leaders’ Events were organized in 2018. These Cluster Leaders’ events provide a platform to both Berendina and cluster leaders to share ideas and opinions related to organization, micro finance industry, country’s economic crisis, how to face challenges as well as new strategic direction and forward. At the end of the event, all participants received special Berendina bags as souvenir from BMIC and later served with an enjoyable lunch.
