She is the Pride of Berendina: Celebrating International Women’s Day Across All Branches

Berendina marked International Women’s Day with special events held across all branches, acknowledging the invaluable contributions of its female staff. With over 80% of Berendina Micro Investment Company’s micro-credit clients and an equal number of Berendina Development Services’ beneficiaries being women, Berendina consistently prioritizes activities that directly involve and empower women. These celebrations occurred on March 8, 2024.

The highlight was the warm welcome extended to female staff at their respective branches by male colleagues, who offered various gestures of appreciation, including flowers, bouquets, shawls and gifts, recognizing their pivotal roles in the organization’s day-to-day operations. Moreover, a main ceremonial event at the Head Office was livestreamed, allowing all branch staff across 13 districts to connect virtually. As a token of appreciation, Berendina gifted custom-made souvenirs and appreciation letters to all female staff, acknowledging and valuing their significant contributions to the organization.
