Boosting Youth Enterprises

Berendina Development Services (Guarantee) Limited has taken proactive measures to enhance youth enterprises in Koralaipattu-Valaichenai, Batticaloa. The implementation of this initiative, with a focus on essential tools and equipment, was highlighted during a distribution ceremony at the Koralaipattu Divisional Secretariat, reinforcing our commitment to empowering local youth.

This initiative revolves around supporting five individual businesses with the goal of creating a positive impact on the overall socio-economic development of the region. The beneficiaries, representing various industries, showcase the diverse talents of the youth in Koralaipattu-Valaichenai. At the recent distribution ceremony, tools and equipment valued at more than Rs. 500,000 were handed over to a beautician, welder, carpenter, and electrician.

The distribution ceremony saw the presence of the Assistant Divisional Secretary of Koralaipattu Divisional Secretariat, alongside officials from Berendina, other government officers, and dedicated youth volunteers.
